Spring Onion Fried Rice

img_5397This is a tasty and easy rice which you can prepare easily. It is healthy as it includes vegetables and kids will really love it. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 20minutes

Cooking Time: 30minutes

Ingredients:

  • Cooked Basmati Rice -1cup
  • Big Onion -1
  • Biriyani leaf -1
  • Ginger garlic paste -1tblsp
  • Spring Onion (white part ) -6
  • Spring Onion (green part) -1/4cup
  • Carrot -1
  • Beans -5
  • Cabbage -2tsp
  • Peas -3tblsp
  • Tomato Sauce -1blsp
  • Soy Sauce -1tblsp
  • Vinegar/Lemon juice -1tblsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -2tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Cook Basmati Rice
  • Chop onion and vegetables into small pieces
  • Chop white and green part of spring onion into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add biriyani leaf and onion and fry till onion becomes golden brown in color
  • Then add ginger garlic paste and fry well
  • Then add carrots and fry
  • Add beans, peas and white part of spring onion and fry well
  • Then add cabbage and cover and cook till the vegetables gets cooked
  • Then add tomato sauce and mix well
  • Add soy sauce and mix
  • Then add lemon juice and cooked basmati rice and mix well
  • Add green part of spring onion and mix
  • Spring Onion Fried Rice is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
