Spring Onion Egg Omelet

IMG_4551This is a quick and easy side dish made with egg and spring onion added in it. It can be prepared easily when you are in a hurry. It can be taken as a side dish for rice. It is healthy and tasty too and will surely be loved by all. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 10minutes

Ingredients:

  • Egg -1
  • Spring onion (white part) -5-8
  • Spring onion (green part) -2tblsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1/2tsp
  • Salt –As required
  • Oil –As required

Preparation:

  • Wash and chop white and green part of spring onion into small pieces
  • Break open an egg and beat it well by adding white part of spring onion, salt and pepper powder

Procedure:

  • Break open an egg and beat it well by adding white part of spring onion, salt and pepper powder
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add the beaten egg and spread it evenly around the pan
  • Then add green part of spring onion on it
  • Cover with a lid and cook for some time till it gets cooked
  • Spread some oil on the top
  • Flip to the other side and cook
  • Spring Onion Omelet is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
