Drumstick Coconut Milk Curry/Murungakkai Thengaipal Kulambu

IMG_4313This is a tasty and quick curry made with drumstick. You can take this as a side dish for rice. The taste will be very nice and you can prepare this in less time. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 20minutes

Cooking Time: 30minutes

Ingredients:

  • Drumstick -1
  • Onion -1
  • Tomato -1
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1/4tsp
  • Coconut Milk -1cup
  • Mustard Seeds/Kadugu -1/2tsp
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Salt –As required
  • Oil -As required

Preparation:

  • Chop onion and tomato into small pieces
  • Chop drumstick into small pieces and boil it by adding some water

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add onion and tomato and fry it and grind it with chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder
  • Chop drumstick into small pieces and boil it by adding some water
  • Then after it gets cooked add the grinded masala and allow to boil
  • Then add coconut milk and boil
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry and add it to the curry and mix well
  • Drumstick Coconut Milk Curry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Pour oil in a pan. Add onion and tomato and fry it and grind it with chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Chop drumstick into small pieces and boil it by adding some water
