Curd Raw Mango Rice

IMG_4969This is a tasty and quick recipe which can be made in minutes. You can easily prepare this when you are in a hurry or when you can prepare this and take when you go for a picnic. The tangy taste will surely be loved by all. You can also prepare this when you have leftover rice. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Cooked Rice -1/2cup
  • Curd -1cup
  • Milk -1/4cup
  • Ghee -2tblsp
  • Mustard Seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Raw ango/Mangai -3tblsp
  • Carrots -3tblsp (grated)
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Green chilli -2
  • Raisins -1tsp
  • Ginger -1/4inch piece
  • Urad Dal/Ulunthu -1/4tsp
  • Oil -1tblsp
  • Salt –As required

Preparation:

  • Grate raw mango and carrot
  • Cook rice

Procedure:

  • Take cooked rice and add curd, milk and ghee and mix well
  • Then add raisins, raw mango and carrots to it and mix well
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds and after it crackles add urad dal, green chilli, ginger and curry leaves and fry
  • Then add it to the rice and mix well
  • Curd Raw Mango Rice is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
