Badam Kheer/Almond Kheer

IMG_4385This is a quick and tasty dessert made with almonds and milk. This involves less preparation time and you can make it quickly for any occasion. You can serve it hot or cold. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 30minutes

Ingredients:

  • Almonds/Badam -20
  • Milk -1 and 1/2cup
  • Sugar -3tsp
  • Cardamom powder/Elakai thool/Elachi powder -1/2tsp

Preparation:

  • Soak almonds in hot water for 10minutes

Procedure:

  • Soak almonds in hot water for 10minutes and press and peel the skin off and grind it to a fine paste in a mixer
  • Take milk in a pan and boil it and add sugar and boil in low flame till it gets thick
  • Then add badam paste and mix well and boil for 5minutes
  • Then add cardamom powder and mix well
  • Add chopped badam and serve it hot or refrigerate it and serve
  • Badam Kheer is now ready!!!
