IMG_4073This is a quick and easy snacks recipe which you can make at home very easily. It can be prepared easily as a snack for kids when they come from school. It tastes very nice and kids will surely like it. It requires only few ingredients which is easily available. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Rava/Sooji -1cup
  • Sugar/Jaggery6 -1 and 1/4cup
  • Sapota/Chiku Fruit -5
  • Cashew -2tsp
  • Ghee -1tblsp
  • Water -3/4cup

Preparation:

  • Pour 1tblsp ghee and add rava and fry till the color changes slightly
  • Boil water
  • Grind sapota and sugar in a mixer

Procedure:

  • Pour 1tblsp ghee and add rava and fry till the color changes slightly
  • Add hot water and mix without any lumps
  • Add sapota and sugar mixture and mix well
  • Pour 1tsp ghee and add cashews and fry and add to this and mix well
  • Sapota Kesari is now ready!!!
