Curd Yam Fry/Senaikilangu Varuval

IMG_3925This is a tasty and easy fry made with yam. It can be taken as a side dish with rice. It is easy to prepare and you can prepare this easily when you are in a hurry. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Yam -1cup chopped
  • Curd -1/4cup
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1/2tsp
  • Cumin powder/Seeraka thool -1/2tsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1/2tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil –2tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop yam into small pieces and marinate it with curd, chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder for 30minutes

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add yam and fry till it gets cooked
  • Then add salt and pepper powder and mix well
  • Curd Yam Fry is now ready!!!
