Pepper Potato Fry/Milagu Urulaikilangu Varuval

IMG_3526This is a quick and easy fry made with potatoes. It can be prepared quickly when you are in a hurry. It can be taken as a side dish for rice. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Potato/Urulai kilangu -2
  • Mustard Seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Cumin Seeds/Seerakam -1/2tsp
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1tsp or as required
  • Coriander leaves -1spring
  • Salt –1 tsp or as required
  • Oil –2tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Peel the skin off from potato and chop it into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves and fry
  • Then add the chopped potatoes and fry till it gets roasted
  • Then add salt and pepper powder and mix well and roast
  • Add coriander leaves and mix well
  • Pepper Potato Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
