Onion Tomato Chutney

IMG_3409This is a quick and tasty chutney made with onion and tomatoes. It can be taken with dosa, idli and it tastes best even for poori and chapatti. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Big onion -2
  • Garlic -5
  • Tomato -3
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1/2tsp
  • Coriander leaves –A spring
  • Salt –1 tsp or as required
  • Oil –1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop onion and tomato into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add onion and garlic and fry till it becomes golden brown in color
  • Then add tomato and mix till it becomes soft
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder and salt and mix well
  • Add coriander leaves and switch off the flame and allow to cool
  • Grind it to a fine paste in a mixer
  • Onion Tomato Chutney is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
