IMG_3510This is a tasty and delicious snack which you can make this easily at home. You can make this at festival times so that everyone can enjoy it. It requires only few ingredients and the taste will really be awesome and this can be tried even by beginners too. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 30minutes

Ingredients:

  • Besan Flour/Kadalai Maavu -1cup
  • Sugar -1cup
  • Ghee -1cup
  • Water -1/4cup

Preparation:

  • Sieve besan flour if needed
  • Grease a plate with ghee and set aside

Procedure:

  • Pour 1tsp ghee in a pan
  • Add besan flour and roast it for 5minutes till nice aroma comes
  • Add ¾ cup ghee with roasted flour and mix well and keep aside for 15minutes
  • In a pan add sugar and water and boil till it reaches one string consistency
  • If you take the sugar syrup between the thumb and the index finger a single string will form thats the correct consistency
  • Now add the besan flour mixture and mix well in low flame
  • Add ghee and mix well in low flame till it starts to leave the sides of the pan
  • Then switch off and pour in on a greased plate and cut it into shapes as you wish while it is hot
  • Mysore Pak is now ready!!!
