Walnut Halwa/Akhrot Halwa

IMG_3220This is a tasty and healthy halwa made with walnuts. It can be taken as a snack and kids will surely like it. This halwa can be taken in winter time to keep the body warm. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 20minutes

Cooking Time: 40minutes

Ingredients:

  • Walnut -1cup powdered
  • Milk -1/2cup
  • Sugar -1/2cup
  • Ghee -2tblsp
  • Cardamom Powder/Elakai thool/Elachi thool -1tsp

Preparation:

  • Grind walnut to coarse powder

Procedure:

  • Take a pan and roast walnuts in medium heat till the color changes and nice smell comes
  • Add milk and stir slowly
  • Add sugar and mix well and stir by adding ghee in between
  • Add cardamom powder and mix well
  • Walnut Halwa is now ready!!!
