Beetroot Jam

IMG_3089This is a healthy and tasty jam made with beetroots. It can be taken with bread, buns or wit dosa and idli too. Kids will really love this and you can prepare this healthy dish for your kids. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot -2
  • Sugar -1cup
  • Lemon Juice -1tblsp

Preparation:

  • Peel the skin of beetroot and pressure cook it for 6-8whistles

Procedure:

  • Peel the skin of beetroot and pressure cook it for 6-8whistles and then grind it in a mixer
  • Take a pan and add the grinded beetroot and sugar and close with a lid and boil in low flame
  • Boil well till it thickens
  • Then add lemon juice and switch off the flame
  • Beetroot Jam is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
