Plantain Curd Fry

IMG_3053This is a quick and tasty fry made with plantains. It is so easy to prepare but tastes very awesome. It can be taken as a side dish for rice. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Marination Time : 30minutes

Ingredients:

  • Plantain/Vazhakai -1
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tsp
  • Curd -1/4cup
  • Rice Flour/Arisi Maavu -1tblsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop plantain into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Chop plantain into small pieces and marinate it with chilli powder, curd, coriander powder, rice flour and salt for 30minutes
  • Pour oil in a pan for shallow frying
  • Add the plantain slices and fry till they get cooked
  • Plantain Curd Fry is now ready!!!
