Pearl Millet Sweet/Kambu Kali/Bajra Kali

IMG_3180This is a tasty and healthy snack recipe made with pearl millet. It is very healthy and can be prepared and given for kids who will definitely like it. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 35minutes

Ingredients:

  • Pearl Millet/Kambu/Bajra -1/2cup
  • Jaggery/Sugar -1/4cup+2tblsp
  • Ghee -2tblsp
  • Water -1cup

Preparation:

  • Soak kambu/pearl millet for 6-8hours

Procedure:

  • Soak kambu/pearl millet for 6-8hours and drain the water and grind it to a fine powder
  • Take jaggery in a pan and add water and boil it till it melts
  • Then add the pearl millet powder and mix well without any lumps and stir slowly in low flame till it gets cooked
  • Add ghee and mix well and stir
  • Kambu Kali is now ready!!!
