Capsicum Raita

IMG_2634This is a simple raita which has capsicum in it. It can be taken with biriyani or with roti. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Capsicum -3tblsp
  • Curd -1/2cup
  • Chilli powder/Milagai thool -1/4tsp
  • Coriander leaves -1spring
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds/Seerakam -1/4tsp
  • Green chilli -1
  • Salt –As required
  • Oil -1tsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Take curd and add chilli powder and salt and mix well
  • Chop capsicum into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and green chilli and fry
  • Then add capsicum and fry slightly and switch off the flame
  • Add it to the curd and mix well and add coriander leaves and mix well
  • Capsicum Raita is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
