Spring Onion Chutney

IMG_1722This is a tasty and easy chutney made with spring onion. It can be taken as a side dish with idli and dosa. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Spring Onion -1bunch
  • Garlic -4
  • Red chilli -3
  • Tomato -1
  • Tamarind -1inch piece
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Wash spring onion and chop the green and white part together

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add red chilli and garlic and fry
  • Then add white and green part of spring onion and fry well
  • Add tomato and fry well
  • Allow it to cool and grind with salt and tamarind
  • Spring Onion Chutney is now ready!!!
