Sweet Wheat Balls/Wheat Ladoo/Atta Ladoo/Gothumai Ladoo

IMG_1404This is a healthy and an easy snack which you can make and give for kids when they come from school. The taste will be very nice and it takes less time to prepare. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Wheat Flour/Atta/Gothumai maavu -1cup
  • Cashew -5
  • Badam -5
  • Sugar -1/2cup
  • Cardamom/Elakai /Elachi -2
  • Ghee -1/4cup (melted) or as required

For Grinding:

  • Cashew -5
  • Badam -5
  • Sugar -1/2cup
  • Cardamom/Elakai /Elachi -2

Grind this to a fine powder

Preparation:

  • Grind sugar, nuts and cardamom to a fine powder

Procedure:

  • Dry fry wheat flour in a pan till nice aroma comes and the color changes slightly
  • Switch off the flame and keep aside
  • Grind sugar, nuts and cardamom to a fine powder
  • Take this along with the roasted wheat flour in a bowl and mix well
  • Heat ghee in a pan and melt it and slowly add to the powder and form small balls out of it
  • Wheat Ladoo is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
