Cabbage Egg Fry/Muttaikos Muttai Poriyal

IMG_1486This is a tasty and healthy fry made with cabbage and eggs. It can be taken as a side dish with rice. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Egg -1
  • Cabbage -1cup
  • Big Onion -1
  • Green chilli -2
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Urad Dal/Ulutham Parupu -1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds/Seerakam -1/2tsp
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -2tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop onion and cabbage into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Take egg in a pan and scramble it
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, urad dal, green chilli, cumin seeds and big onion and fry
  • Then add cabbage and fry till it gets cooked
  • Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix well
  • Then add eggs and mix well
  • Cabbage Egg Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Take egg in a pan and scramble it
