Baby Potato Fry

IMG_1107This is a tasty and easy fry made with baby potatoes. It goes well as a side dish with rice. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 20minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Baby potatoes -25-30
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tblsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1tsp
  • Garam Masala -1tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Pressure cook baby potatoes with water for 2whisles in high flame and in low flame for 10minutes
  • Then peel the skin from the potatoes

Procedure:

  • Pressure cook baby potatoes with water for 2whisles in high flame and in low flame for 10minutes and peel the skin from the potatoes
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry
  • Then add baby potatoes and fry well
  • Add chilli powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt and mix well
  • Baby Potato Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Pressure cook baby potatoes with water for 2whisles in high flame and in low flame for 10minutes and peel the skin from the potatoes
