Ragi Puttu/Finger Millet Puttu

IMG_0500This is a tasty puttu which you can make in few minutes. It can be taken as an evening snack. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Ragi Flour/Finger Millet Flour -1cup
  • Sugar -2tblsp
  • Salt -1/2tsp
  • Coconut gratings -1/4cup or as required
  • Water –As required

Procedure:

  • Take ragi flour in a bowl and add sugar and add water and mix slowly
  • Then wrap it in a cotton cloth and place in idli cooker and steam till ragi gets cooked
  • Then take it out and add coconut and mix well
  • Ragi Puttu is now ready!!!
