Paneer 65/Fried Indian Cottage Cheese

IMG_0992This is a crispy and tasty fry made with paneer. It goes well as a side dish with rice and can be had for snack too. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Paneer/Cottage Cheese -200gms
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tblsp
  • Maida -2tblsp
  • Corn flour -3tblsp
  • Rice flour/Arisi maavu -2tblsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste -1tblsp(For homemade ginger garlic paste click here –>Click)
  • Lemon juice -1tblsp
  • Water –As required
  • Red food color -1pinch(Optional)
  • Salt -1tsp
  • Oil –For deep frying

Preparation:

  • Slice paneer into cubes

Procedure:

  • Slice paneer into cubes
  • Marinate it with chilli powder, maida, corn flour, rice flour, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt and water for 10minutes
  • Pour oil in a pan for deep frying and deep fry paneer one by one
  • Paneer 65 is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Slice paneer into cubes
