Mango Ginger Chutney/Manga Inji Chutney

IMG_8943This is a tasty chutney made with mango ginger. The taste will be so nice and you can prepare it easily. It can be taken as a side dish with idli and dosa. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Mango Ginger/Manga Inji -2pieces
  • Green chilli -2
  • Coconut -1/4cup
  • Garlic -1
  • Tamarind -1/2inch piece
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Urad Dal/Ulutham parupu -1/2tsp
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop coconut into small pieces
  • Wash and peel the skin from mango ginger and chop it into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Wash and peel the skin from mango ginger and chop it into small pieces
  • Take it in a mixer along with coconut, green chillies, garlic, tamarind and salt and grind it by adding water
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves and fry
  • Pour it over the chutney and mix well
  • Mango Ginger Chutney Is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Wash and peel the skin from mango ginger and chop it into small pieces
