Mango Cake/Mango Upside Down Cake

IMG_0371This is a tasty and easy cake made with mangoes. This can be quickly done for an evening snack and can be enjoyed. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 25minutes

Baking Time: 35-45minutes

Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour/Maida -1 and 1/2cup
  • Baking Powder -1tsp
  • Baking Soda -1/2tsp
  • Salt -1/4tsp
  • Butter -100gms
  • Sugar -1cup
  • Vanilla Essence -1tsp
  • Egg -1
  • Mango puree -1/2 cup

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees(For how to preheat an oven click here –> Click)
  • Grease a cake tin(For how to grease a cake tin click here –> Click)
  • Puree mango to a fine paste

Procedure:

  • Take flour in a bowl and add baking powder to it
  • Then add baking soda and salt and mix well
  • In a bowl add butter and add sugar to it and mix well
  • Then add vanilla essence and mix well
  • Add egg and mix it well
  • Then add mango puree and mix it well
  • Add the flour mixture and mix it well
  • Grease a cake tin and add mango slices on top
  • Then pour the batter in it and keep it in a preheated oven and bake for 35-45minutes
  • Insert a toothpick in it and if it comes out clean it is baked correctly. Now invert it in a plate and enjoy
  • Mango Cake is now ready!!!
