Brinjal With Besan Fry

IMG_1149This is an easy fry which you can prepare easily when you are in a hurry. It can be taken as a side dish for rice. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Brinjal/Eggplant/Kathirikai -3
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tblsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1/2tsp
  • Besan flour/Kadalai maavu -1/4cup
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Cumin seeds/Seerakam -1/2tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -3tblsp or as required

For Grinding:

  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tblsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1/2tsp
  • Besan flour/Kadalai maavu -1/4cup

Grind this coarsely without adding water

Preparation:

  • Wash and chop brinjal into small pieces
  • Grind red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, besan flour coarsely without adding water

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and brinjal and fry
  • Grind red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, besan flour coarsely without adding water
  • Add this and mix and add salt and fry well
  • Brinjal With Besan Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
