Beetroot Egg Fry

IMG_0536This is an easy and tasty fry made with beetroot and eggs. It can be taken as a side dish with rice. The taste will be so nice and even kids will love this. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Beetroot -1
  • Egg -1
  • Big Onion -1
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Urad Dal/Ulutham parupu -1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds/Seerakam -1tsp
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Green chilli -2
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -2tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop onion into small pieces
  • Grate beetroot using a grater

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds to it and after they crackle, add cumin seeds, urad dal, green chilli, curry leaves and onion and fry
  • Then add beetroot and fry
  • Add egg and salt and mix well
  • Beetroot Egg Fry is now ready!!!
