Sweet Corn Sundal

IMG_7348This is a tasty sundal recipe made with sweet corn. The taste will be very nice and its easy to prepare. This can be given as a breakfast for kids. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 20minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Sweet corn -1
  • Big onion -1
  • Red chilli -2
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Urad Dal/Ulutham Parupu -1/2tsp
  • Carrot -1/2
  • Grated coconut -1/4cup
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -2tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop onion into small pieces
  • Grate carrot
  • Pressure cook sweet corn for 3whistles in high flame and in low flame for 10minutes

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chilli, curry leaves and onion and fry till onion becomes golden brown in color
  • Add carrots and mix well
  • Then add boiled sweet corn and salt and mix well
  • Add grated coconut and switch off the flame
  • Sweet Corn Sundal is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Pressure cook sweet corn for 3whistles in high flame and in low flame for 10minutes
