Potato Capsicum Fry/Urulai Kilangu Kudamilagai Varuval

IMG_7918This is a tasty fry made with potatoes and capsicum. It tastes so good as a side dish for rice. The preparation is also simple and the recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes -2
  • Big Onion -2
  • Garlic -5
  • Cumin seeds/Seerakam -1tsp
  • Capsicum -1/2
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1tsp
  • Red chilli powder/Milagai thool -1tblsp or as required
  • Salt -1tsp or as require
  • Oil -3tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop onion and capsicum into small pieces
  • Peel the skin of potato and chop into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add cumin seeds, garlic and onion and fry
  • Add potatoes and fry well
  • Add turmeric powder and salt and mix well
  • Add capsicum and mix well and cook till potatoes becomes golden in color
  • Add chilli powder and mix well
  • Potato Capsicum Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Pour oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, garlic and onion and fry
