Mutton Leg Soup/Aatu kaal Soup

IMG_9115This is a tasty soup made with mutton legs. You can have this healthy soup for breakfast. This is very healthy soup and you can have it for a week continuously if you are very weak. The preparation is also very simple. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 30minutes

Ingredients:

  • Mutton legs -4
  • Big Onion -1
  • Green Chilli -1
  • Garlic -3 pods
  • Cumin powder/Seeraka thool -1tsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -2tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -3tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Wash mutton leg pieces

Procedure:

  • In a pressure cooker pour oil
  • Then add green chilli, garlic and onion and fry
  • Then add washed mutton legs and fry
  • Add cumin powder and water and pressure cook for 5whistles in high flame and in low flame for 15minutes
  • After the pressure goes by itself, open the cooker and take the leg pieces out
  • Add salt and pepper powder and enjoy hot!!!
  • Mutton leg Soup is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
