Mango Ginger Pachadi/Manga Inji Pachadi

IMG_9166This is an easy pachadi recipe made with mango ginger. It can be served as a side dish with rice or with idli and dosa. This can be prepared easily when we have less time. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Mango ginger/Manga Inji -1/2cup
  • Coconut -1/4cup
  • Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
  • Green chilli -2
  • Curry leaves –A spring
  • Red chilli -1
  • Big Onion -1
  • Curd -1cup
  • Salt -1tsp
  • Oil -2tblsp

For Grinding:

  • Coconut -1/4cup
  • Green chilli -2

Preparation:

  • Peel the skin from mango ginger and chop it into small pieces
  • Grind coconut and green chilli coarsely without adding water

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, curry leaf, red chilli and onion and fry till onion becomes golden brown in color
  • Then add mango ginger and fry and switch off the flame
  • Grind coconut and green chilli coarsely without adding water and mix this with curd
  • Add this and mix well
  • Mango Ginger Pachhadi is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
