Malabar Egg Fry/Malabar Muttai Thokku

IMG_9021This is a simple and easy fry made with eggs. It tastes best as a side dish for rice and it can be prepares easily when you are in a hurry. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Boiled eggs -2
  • Small onion/Shallots -20
  • Red chilli -2
  • Coconut -3tblsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Boil eggs

Procedure:

  • Boil egg by adding water and keep in medium flame for 15 minutes
  • Remove the shell and slice into two pieces
  • Grind onion, red chilli, and coconut in a mixer by adding water
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add the grinded paste and boil well
  • Then add eggs and salt and mix well till the masala gets coated with the egg
  • Malabar Egg Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
