Cucumber Raita/Cucumber Salad

IMG_9541This is a salad recipe which goes well as a side dish for biriyani, chapatti, naan and parotas. It gives a cool feeling if you have this salad freshly for breakfast. This salad is made with cucumber. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Ingredients:

  • Curd/Yogurt/Thayir -1cup
  • Cucumber -1/2cup
  • Green chilli -1
  • Coriander leaves -1tblsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Peel the skin from cucumber and chop it into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Take curd in a bowl and add cucumber to it and mix well
  • Then add green chilli and coriander leaves and mix well
  • Add pepper powder and salt and mix well
  • Cucumber Raita is now ready!!!
