Chiku Halwa/Sapota Halwa

IMG_9029This is a sweet halwa made with chiku/sapota. The taste will be very nice with a nice flavor. Kids will like this very much and we can make this easily for an evening snack with only few ingredients. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Chiku/Sapota -5
  • Ghee -2tblsp
  • Milk -2cups
  • Sugar -1/4cup

Preparation:

  • Wash and peel the skin from chiku and chop into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Pour ghee in a pan
  • Add chopped chiku and fry
  • Add milk and boil it in low flame till it reduces and mixes well with chikku
  • Add sugar and stir in low flame
  • Sapota Halwa is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Wash and peel the shin from chiku and chop into small pieces
