Wheat Parota

IMG_9448This is a layered parota which tastes so nice. Here we add egg to the dough to make it soft and it enhances the taste too. This is made with wheat and it can be given for kids who crave for parota often. The preparation is easy as chapati but the only difference is the making of layers

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Makes: 6parotas

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour -2and 1/2cup
  • Egg -1
  • Warm water –As required
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -3tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Boil some water slightly

Procedure:

  • Take wheat flour in a bowl and add egg, salt and mix
  • Then add warm water and mix it slightly
  • Then knead it to form a dough
  • Then form small balls out of it
  • Then roll it by applying oil
  • Then fold it and make it into a circle so that the layers will be formed
  • Then again roll it and we got layers
  • Then put it on a hot tawa and cook on both sides by applying oil
  • Wheat parota is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
