Sweet Corn Soup

IMG_7695This is an easy sweet corn soup which you can prepare very easily. We can make this soup in different ways but this is a simple version. The taste will be really nice and will be loved by all. It requires only a few ingredients to prepare. This can be served as a healthy snack at evening when children come from school. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 30minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Sweet Corn -1/2cup
  • Milk -1 cup
  • Green chilli -1
  • Coriander leaves -1spring
  • Corn flour -1tblsp
  • Water – 3tblsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -2tsp or as required
  • Salt -2tsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop green chilli and coriander leaf
  • Boil sweet corn
  • Mix corn flour in water without any lumps

Procedure:

  • Take sweet corn in a pressure cooker and add water and pressure cook it for 3 whistles in high flame and in low flame for 20 minutes
  • After the pressure goes by itself, open the cooker and allow it to cool and then grind it in a mixer without adding water and strain it if required
  • Take a pan and add milk in it and boil
  • Then add green chilli and coriander leaf and mix well
  • Then add corn flour dissolved in water and boil for five minutes
  • Then add salt and pepper and serve hot
  • Sweet Corn Soup is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
