Spicy Goose berry juice/Amla Juice/Nellikai Juice

IMG_7938This is a fresh juice recipe. In summer we have to drink a lot of fresh juices to retain the water level in our body. This is a healthy juice recipe which can be prepared easily at home. Goose berry is good for health and it can be eaten raw or juice can be prepared from it. Goose berry juice is a healthy drink as it is a storehouse of vitamin C and other nutrients.

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 10minutes

Ingredients:

  • Goose berry/Amla/Nellikai -2
  • Green Chilli -1
  • Ginger -1 inch piece
  • Curry leaf –A Spring
  • Sugar -2tblsp or as required
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1tsp
  • Cold water -1cup
  • Salt -1tsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Wash and chop goose berry into small pieces

Procedure:

  • Wash and chop goose berry into small pieces
  • Add this in a mixer along with green chilli, ginger, curry leaves and grind adding a cup of water
  • Sieve it using a strainer and add sugar, salt and pepper powder
  • Goose berry juice is now ready!!!
