Semolina Balls/Rava ladoo/Sooji ladoo

IMG_7419This is an easy and quick snack which can be prepared in very less time. It is prepared in all houses during festival times. This requires only a few ingredients which is easily available in our kitchen and can be done very easily. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Makes: 10ladoos

Ingredients:

  • Rava/Sooji -1cup
  • Sugar -3/4cup
  • Cardamom powder/Elachi powder/Elakai powder -1tsp
  • Milk -3-5tsp
  • Cashew –As required (Optional)
  • Raisins –As required (Optional)

Preparation:

  • Dry fry rava in low flame for 5minutes and grind it
  • Grind 3//4 cup sugar

Procedure:

  • Dry fry rava in low flame for 5minutes and grind it
  • Grind 3//4 cup sugar and mix it with rava and add cardamom powder and mix well
  • If you are adding nuts fry it in ghee and add it and then sprinkle milk little bit by bit and form ladoos
  • Rava ladoo is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
