Orange Jam

IMG_8707This is a homemade orange jam with natural preservatives which tastes best with bread. This can be stored in fridge for up to two weeks. But every time you have to use a clean, dry spoon. This is a homemade jam made with fresh oranges and it can be given to children. It is very easy and requires only four ingredients. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Oranges -4
  • Sugar -6tblsp or as required
  • Salt -1/2tsp
  • Lemon Juice -1tblsp

Preparation:

  • Remove the seeds from orange and extract the juice from oranges

Procedure:

  • Extract the juice from oranges
  • Pour this juice in a pan and boil
  • Then add sugar to it and boil in low flame and stir occasionally
  • Then add salt and mix well
  • When it starts to thicken, add lemon juice and boil and then switch off the flame
  • Then allow it to cool and it will become thick after cooling
  • Then you can store it in a clean bottle in fridge
  • Orange Jam is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Extract the juice from oranges
