Muttai Adai/ Egg Fry

IMG_7444This is a tasty egg recipe made with egg, onion and coconut. The taste will be so excellent. Even those who won’t like egg will start to like this dish if they taste. This can be had as a side dish for rice or with chapathi or parota. It is a healthy dish and it’s easy to prepare. Children who don’t eggs can be given a dish like this and they will definitely enjoy. Let’s see the recipe now

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Eggs -2
  • Big Onion -1
  • Coconut -1/4cup
  • Fennel seeds/Sombu/Perunjeerakam -2tsp
  • Green chilli -2 or as required
  • Salt -2tsp or as required
  • Oil -2tsp or as required

For Grinding:

  • Big Onion -1
  • Coconut -1/4cup
  • Fennel seeds/Sombu/Perunjeerakam -2tsp
  • Green chilli -2 or as required

Grind this to a fine paste without adding water

Preparation:

  • Take eggs in a bowl and beat it
  • Grind onion, coconut, sombu, green chilli to a fine paste
  • Chop onion and green chillies

Procedure:

  • Take eggs in a bowl and beat it
  • Grind onion, coconut, sombu, green chilli to a fine paste and add this to egg and mix well
  • Add salt and mix well
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Now take this mixture and pour it and spread it like dosa and cover and cook for three minutes
  • Now turn it to the other side and fry
  • Muttai Adai is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Take eggs in a bowl and beat it

IMG_7440Pour oil in a pan. Now take this mixture and pour it and spread it like dosa and cover and cook for three minutes
