Chapathi/Roti

IMG_6924This is a popular Indian flat bread made with wheat flour. The preparation is very easy and it is a healthy dish too. You can also use roti maker to prepare chapathi easily. You can cook fresh and have it else it can be stored and reheated. You have to prepare the dough and keep it in rest for two hours to make soft chapathi. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Cooking Time: 15minutes

Resting Time: 2hours

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour -2cup
  • Salt -1/2tsp
  • Water -3/4cup or required
  • Oil -2tblsp or as required

Procedure:

  • Take wheat flour in a bowl
  • Add salt to it and mix
  • Then add the required water and mix well and form a dough
  • Then add oil and mix well and rest it for 2 hours
  • Then form small balls out of the dough and flatten it with your hand and roll it into flat breads
  • Then put it on the dosa pan and sprinkle some oil and cook
  • Then flip to the other side and cook
  • Chapathi is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Take wheat flour in a bowl
