Black Sesame ladoo/Til ladoo/Ellu Urundai/Ellu mithai

IMG_9137This is an easy and simple recipe which requires only few ingredients. This is a tasty ladoo which can be made quickly for any festivals or for an evening snack. I have done this using black sesame seeds. The simple recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 25minutes

Ingredients:

  • Black Sesame/Til/Ellu -1 and ½ cup
  • Jaggery/Sugar -1cup
  • Water -1/2 cup

Preparation:

  • Dry fry sesame seeds till they pop

Procedure:

  • Dry fry sesame seeds till they pop and grind it
  • Take jaggery in a pan and add ½ cup water and melt it till it reaches a one string consistency
  • Filter it using a strainer
  • Then add the jaggery water and add the sesame powder and mix well and stir it
  • Then transfer it to a plate and form ladoos
  • Black Sesame ladoo is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
