Banana Paniyaram

IMG_9208This is a sweet made with banana. This is very easy to prepare and can be done as an evening snack for kids. The preparation is very easy and the taste will be very nice. You can prepare this using ripe bananas for better taste. The recipe is as follows

Preparation Time: 10minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Resting Time: 2hours

Ingredients:

  • Banana -2
  • Maida -2cup
  • Sugar -1 and ½ cups
  • Cardamom powder/Elakai powder/Elachi powder -2tsp
  • Curd -1/4 cup
  • Salt -1/2 tsp
  • Oil –For deep frying

For Grinding:

  • Banana -2
  • Curd -1/4 cup

Grind this to a fine paste without adding water

Preparation:

  • Grind sugar in mixer to a fine powder
  • Grind banana and curd in mixer

Procedure:

  • Mix maida, sugar powder and cardamom powder
  • Grind banana and curd in mixer and mix with it
  • Mix it and knead like a parota dough and let it rest for 2hours
  • Pour oil in a pan for deep frying
  • Form small balls and deep fry it in oil and drain it using a paper towel. Take care not to burn it. For me it got burnt a little
  • Banana Paniyaram is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Grind banana and curd in mixer and mix with it

IMG_9203Pour oil in a pan for deep frying. Form small balls and deep fry it in oil and drain it using a paper towel
