Scrambled Fish Fry/Kothu Fish Fry

IMG_7009This is a tasty side dish which goes well with rice. The taste will be very nice and it will be like by all. Some people hate to eat fish because of smell in it but if you prepare fish in this way it would not smell much at all. It is easy to prepare and the taste will be awesome. It can also be done if you have some leftover fish fry. If you have some deep fried fish, the preparation time will be very less only.

Preparation Time: 15minutes

Marination Time: 30minutes

Cooking Time: 20minutes

Ingredients:

  • Fish -300gms
  • Red Chilli powder/Milagai podi -1tblsp or as required
  • Salt -2tsp or as required
  • Oil -2tblsp +1tblsp or as required
  • Big onion -1
  • Curry leaves -A spring
  • Coriander leaves/Cilantro/Malli leaf -2springs
  • Lemon juice -1tblsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu podi -1tsp

Preparation:

  • Wash fish pieces and keep
  • Chop onion and keep
  • Wash curry leaf and coriander leaf and keep
  • Take some lemon juice and keep

Procedure:

  • Wash the fish pieces and mix it with chilli powder and salt and marinate it for 30 minutes
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Shallow fry the marinated fish pieces by pouring some oil
  • Then take the fish pieces and remove the bones and shred it into fine pieces and keep
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Add chopped onions and fry well till it becomes golden brown in color
  • Then add curry leaves and mix well
  • Then add the shredded fish pieces and mix well
  • Add pepper powder and mix well
  • Then add lemon juice and coriander leaves
  • Scrambled fish fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
