Vazhakai Poriyal/Plantain Poriyal

IMG_6361This is an easy fry. It is shallow fried but tastes good. It requires no big chopping work and enables us to finish our side dish very quickly

Preparation Time: 5minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • Plantain/Vazhakai -1
  • Chilli powder/Milagai thool -2tsp
  • Coriander powder/Malli thool -1tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal thool -1/2tsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu thool -1tsp
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

Preparation:

  • Chop vazhakai into round pieces
  • Marinate it with chilli powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Pepper powder and salt

Procedure:

  • Marinate vazhakai with chilli powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder, Pepper powder and salt and keep for 15minutes
  • Pour oil in a pan
  • Put vazhakai into in and shallow fry it
  • Vazhakai poriyal is now ready!!!
